Positive Mind, Positive Results
Before I became a trader I was always doing some kind of sport. I started with sports like soccer, volleyball and later many others such as bodyweight exercises, running, kick boxing and weight training. Doing sports and having active hobbies is something I believe every trader should practice and apply to own trading routine. In order to learn to trade forex (or any other financial market) you have to invest time and energy to become a successful trader.
Sport teached me fundamentals that are necessary for any kind of success you want to achieve. It helps you to understand and control yourself, it makes your mind sharper by leaving your comfort zone, it rewards you with great feeling and positive mood, and you learn to make a better decisions by being more patient and disciplined. Learning to trade is an investment in yourself. If you want to learn to trade forex, stock, futures find yourself a forex mentor if you want to fastrack your trading progress and save time.
I will never understand how there are so many people out there that do not have any hobbies. Being active and doing some kind of sport you like can be one of your best decisions in life. You will become healthier, have stronger body and you will have more energy to conquer other areas of life.
If you do not like to spend 1-2 hours per day working out you can just do some kind of 10-20 min minimalist workout like running outside, bodyweight exercises (like good old pushups or situps), or few sets with dumbells. I am sure you will gain more patience, stronger mind and awareness through exercising. This will help you a lot when you will trade, because it will help you to control yourself more and help you to make better decisions. Learn to trade forex by focusing on yourself and our trading.
Everything you do in trading is your personal responsibility. You have to make sure you know how to control your own emotions. You can not control your emotions, if you have bad habits that makes your mind weaker (as watching the news, TV, spending hours every day on social media, fast food). You can learn to control your emotions only when you push out of your comfort zones with healthy habits such as working out or simple stretching, meditation to get some oxygen to your body and mind. If you have a passion for your trading, learn to trade forex and try to become the best trader possible.
Try and take 10-20 minutes every morning to do some movements before you jump on the charts. This will enable you to be focused and calm when you are executing your trading plan. Try any kind of workouts you like and just stay consistent to reap the benefits on the long-term. Invest some time in your trading plan, trading journal, and learn to trade forex with the right trading skills and habits.
